WHY WORK HERE
Why Join Allied Service Group?
Working at Allied means competitive pay and benefits backed by a national company, plus the kind of hands-on learning you only get at a growing one. You’ll train through Tech24 University, drive a branded van, and work on the refrigeration, cooking, HVAC and electrical systems that keep Mid-South kitchens open. Most of our senior technicians started the same way: an apprenticeship, a willingness to learn a new trade every year, and a dispatcher who trusted them with harder jobs as they proved it.

TRAINING
Tech24 University
Based on a combination of CFESA principles and practical field experience from our 40+ years in the industry, Tech24 University provides entry- through advanced level instruction in electrical, gas, steam and refrigeration commercial appliances. Upon graduation, you will meet specific standards for service and repair work on commercial foodservice equipment, plumbing and HVAC. Our classes create a high-intensity, immersive learning experience that is significantly more effective than the old “ride and learn” approach with a maximum of 12 students. You’ll learn how to excel under pressure, troubleshoot and solve customer problems, with an emphasis on improving equipment reliability and uptime.
Learn MoreYou’ll start with a branded van and uniform, visit 3 to 4 job sites across the Mid-South, and work on foodservice equipment inside restaurants, schools, grocery stores and other commercial kitchens. Most days mix diagnosis, repair and customer communication, with GPS dispatch routing you to the next call.
Allied Service Group technicians work out of three bases: our main office in Jackson, Tennessee, plus Memphis, Tennessee and Tupelo, Mississippi. You’ll be assigned to the market closest to where you live and dispatched across the Mid-South. Most days keep you within that territory rather than on the road overnight.
Every technician trains through Tech24 University, a CFESA based curriculum covering electrical, gas, steam and refrigeration commercial equipment in classes capped at 12 students. Training continues after you start, with senior technicians and virtual field support available when a job gets complicated.
