How Foodservice Equipment Repair Works

Contacting Allied Service Group for foodservice equipment starts here, and ends with your kitchen back in business.

Call or Request Online

Call our dispatch line or submit a request online. Let us know what’s not working, what equipment it is, and how urgent it is, and we’ll take it from there.

Rapid Dispatch

We send a factory trained technician from the closest Allied technician base in Jackson, Memphis or Tupelo, typically within a few hours when it’s an emergency.

Diagnose & Repair

Your technician pinpoints the issue on site and gets to work with parts carried on the truck. Anything special order gets rushed.

Test, Document, & Follow Up

We verify the fix holds under real use, log what was done, and check back to make sure everything’s still running well.

Highly-Skilled Technicians

Ongoing training and manufacturer certification span cooking, refrigeration, beverage, and HVAC, not just one equipment type.

We Stock the Most Commonly Used Parts

Genuine manufacturer parts, the ones actually needed most, live on our trucks. Factory spec only, never a generic substitute.

90-Day Guarantee

A 90 day guarantee follows every repair, no exceptions, and the fleet is stocked well enough that same day service is realistic more often than not.

Planned Maintenance Programs

Catching a problem before it becomes an emergency call is the whole point of our PM programs: burner inspection, thermostat calibration, gasket checks, gas pressure testing, and a full cleaning.

All Fuel Types & Configurations

Atmospheric or infrared, gas, electric, LP, or dual fuel, our technicians are trained across every configuration and every major brand.

Region-Wide Coverage

From a single kitchen to a multi location account, the service you get from Allied Service Group doesn’t change based on how many doors you operate.

Why won't my fryer get hot enough?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

High

A faulty thermostat sends the wrong temperature reading to the controls, a malfunctioning burner or heating element can’t generate enough heat to bring oil up to frying temperature, and carbon buildup on burner components blocks the flame from burning cleanly. High urgency during service hours since a down fryer usually means pulling items off the menu entirely.
Why is my walk in cooler not holding temperature?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

High

A failing compressor loses its ability to move refrigerant efficiently, low refrigerant charge means the system can’t absorb enough heat to cool properly, a damaged door seal lets warm air leak in continuously, and a blocked evaporator coil can’t transfer cold air into the box. This is high urgency because a walk in losing temperature threatens every item of inventory stored inside it, not just the equipment itself.
Why does my oven cook unevenly?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A failing heating element creates hot and cold spots instead of even heat distribution, a miscalibrated thermostat causes the oven to run at a different temperature than the dial shows, and a faulty door seal lets heat escape continuously, forcing the oven to overcompensate in certain areas. Uneven heating shows up first as inconsistent cook results before it’s obvious as an equipment problem.
Why is my beverage dispenser leaking or pouring unevenly?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

Worn valve seals let product leak at the point where the valve should hold it back, low CO2 pressure means less carbonation and less force pushing product through the line, and a clogged line restricts flow unevenly across different taps or flavors. A slow leak rarely fixes itself and tends to get worse with continued use, worth a repair call before it affects product waste or the equipment around it.
Why are my dishes coming out of the dishwasher still dirty?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

Clogged spray arms restrict the water pressure needed to actually clean dishes, a failing wash pump can’t build that pressure in the first place, low water temperature means the wash cycle isn’t hot enough to break down grease and food residue, and worn detergent dispensers release the wrong amount of chemical for the cycle. Spotting or residue is often the first visible sign before a bigger mechanical failure.
Why is my ice machine making less ice than it used to?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A dirty water filter restricts the water needed to form ice, low refrigerant means the evaporator plate never gets cold enough, a failing water pump can’t circulate water across the plate properly, and scale buildup insulates the plate from the cold it needs to transfer. Reduced output is usually the first sign before the machine stops producing ice altogether.
Why does my equipment keep showing an error code with nothing obviously wrong?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Low

A sensor malfunction sends the control board incorrect readings even when the underlying equipment is fine, a firmware issue can cause the same symptom without any physical part failing, and a loose electrical connection creates an intermittent fault that comes and goes. Low urgency for most error codes, but a good reason to schedule a maintenance visit rather than wait for the equipment to fail outright.

A minor issue left alone rarely stays minor. Get a factory trained technician on it before it turns into something bigger.
