WHAT WE REPAIR

Service and Repair for HVAC and Exhaust Systems

We install and service package AC units on your rooftops, and water source or split systems in your ceilings, plus service and repair for the exhaust systems that work alongside them. Longstanding OEM relationships mean we know legacy equipment and can help source hard to find parts.

How HVAC Repair Works

Here’s what to expect from the moment you call to a system that’s back to full operation.

Call or Request Online

Contact our dispatch center by phone or submit a service request online. Describe the equipment, the issue, and the urgency, we’ll prioritize accordingly.

Rapid Dispatch

A factory trained technician is dispatched from the nearest Allied technician base in Jackson, Memphis or Tupelo within hours for emergency calls.

Diagnose & Repair

Your technician diagnoses the issue on site, checks for the parts, and completes the repair. If a part must be ordered, we expedite next day delivery in most cases.

Test, Document, & Follow Up

Every repair is performance-tested, and backed by our service warranty. We follow up to confirm the equipment is running perfectly.

Highly-Skilled Technicians

Our HVAC equipment specialists receive ongoing training and certification from leading manufacturers.

We Stock the Most Commonly Used Parts

We stock the most frequently used genuine manufacturer parts on our service vehicles. No generic substitutes, only parts that meet factory specifications.

90-Day Guarantee

Technicians run GPS equipped vans stocked for same day service, and every job is backed by 90 days of coverage on parts and labor.

Planned Maintenance Programs

Prevent breakdowns before they happen. Our PM programs include burner and heat exchanger inspection, thermostat and control calibration, belt and filter checks, refrigerant and gas pressure testing, and coil cleaning.

All Fuel Types & Configurations

Gas, electric, and dual fuel, we service every configuration, from rooftop package units to split systems. Our technicians are trained on gas fired and electric heating systems across all major HVAC brands.

Why isn’t my kitchen exhaust hood pulling smoke and grease properly?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

High

A clogged grease filter restricts the airflow the hood depends on, a failing exhaust fan motor can’t generate enough suction to compensate, and duct buildup narrows the path smoke and grease actually travel through. High urgency for a reason beyond comfort: a hood that isn’t properly exhausting grease laden air is both a fire code and health code issue, and buildup inside ductwork gets harder and more expensive to clean the longer it accumulates.
Why isn’t my rooftop unit cooling properly?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

High

Low refrigerant charge means the system can’t absorb enough heat to cool effectively, a dirty condenser coil can’t reject the heat it does collect, and a failing compressor can’t move refrigerant through the cycle at all. A unit running low on refrigerant also forces the compressor to work harder than it’s built for, shortening its life the longer the low charge goes unaddressed. High urgency, since a rooftop unit that’s stopped cooling affects both comfort and, in a kitchen, food safety temperatures.
Why is my split system leaking water indoors?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A clogged condensate drain line backs water up until it has nowhere to go but out, a cracked drain pan lets water escape at the source, and a failing condensate pump can’t move water out of the unit fast enough to keep up. Indoor water leaks from HVAC equipment are a property damage risk as much as an equipment issue, ceiling tiles and flooring near the unit are usually the first casualties.
Why isn’t my furnace or heating unit reaching temperature?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A failing igniter or pilot means the burner isn’t lighting reliably, a clogged burner restricts the fuel and air mixture it needs to burn properly, and a faulty limit switch can shut the system down as a safety precaution before it reaches temperature. A unit cycling on repeated ignition failure is often close to a full lockout, worth a call before it stops attempting to start altogether.
Why is my HVAC system short-cycling?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A dirty air filter restricts airflow enough to trip a safety switch, low refrigerant charge causes the system to hit pressure limits early, and a failing thermostat can send the system incorrect signals to start and stop. Short cycling is hard on the compressor specifically, every startup draws a surge of current, so a unit cycling every few minutes wears out its compressor far faster than one running normal cycles.
Why isn’t my make-up air unit balancing with the exhaust system?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A miscalibrated damper lets in more or less air than the exhaust system is pulling out, a failing blower motor can’t move enough air to match demand, and a dirty air filter restricts intake enough to throw off the balance. An imbalanced system usually shows up first as doors that are hard to open or close, or a kitchen that feels drafty or stuffy, before it becomes an outright equipment failure.
Why is airflow uneven from room to room in my building?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Low

Blocked or leaking ductwork loses conditioned air before it reaches its destination, a failing damper can’t properly direct airflow to where it’s needed, and a system that’s undersized for the space simply can’t produce enough air to reach every room evenly. Usually a comfort issue rather than a safety one, but a system working harder than it should to compensate for duct losses also runs up energy costs over time.
Why is my exhaust fan making excessive noise or vibration?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Low

Worn fan bearings create friction the fan wasn’t designed to run against, an unbalanced fan wheel throws vibration through the whole housing, and loose belts or mounting hardware let the fan shift slightly with every rotation. Noise and vibration are early warning signs rather than emergencies, but a fan that’s been vibrating for weeks is putting extra stress on its motor bearings the whole time.

HVAC downtime affects comfort and code compliance both. Call now and let’s get it sorted.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HVAC Repair FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most about commercial HVAC and exhaust system repair. Don’t see yours? Give us a call.

What types of HVAC equipment does Allied Service Group service?

Rooftop package units, split systems, water source heat pumps, kitchen exhaust hoods, exhaust fans, make up air units, and the ductwork and controls that tie it all together.

Can I bundle HVAC service with other equipment repair?

Yes. Allied Service Group can bundle HVAC and exhaust system service with our work on your commercial cooking equipment, beverage equipment, refrigeration, and electrical systems, so you’re not juggling multiple vendors.

Are your technicians certified on major HVAC brands?

Yes. Our technicians are trained on 300+ manufacturers, and our longstanding relationships with industry OEMs extend to legacy equipment, which helps us source hard to find parts when an older unit needs them.

How quickly can you respond to an HVAC emergency?

Most markets offer same day service, and our dispatch center is available 24/7. A down rooftop unit or exhaust hood affects both comfort and code compliance, so those calls get prioritized ahead of routine maintenance visits.

What does the 90-day guarantee cover?

Every repair is backed by 90 days of coverage on both parts and labor. Call 731-982-2634 or request service online to get started.
