How Beverage Equipment Repair Works

From the moment you call to a beverage program running smoothly again, here’s what to expect.

Call or Request Online

Contact our dispatch center by phone or submit a service request online. Describe the equipment, the issue, and the urgency, we’ll prioritize accordingly.

Rapid Dispatch

A factory trained technician is dispatched from the nearest Allied technician base in Jackson, Memphis or Tupelo within hours for emergency calls.

Diagnose & Repair

Your technician diagnoses the issue on site, checks for the parts, and completes the repair. If a part must be ordered, we expedite next day delivery in most cases.

Test, Document, & Follow Up

Every repair is performance tested and backed by our service warranty. We follow up to confirm the equipment is running as it should.

Highly-Skilled Technicians

Our beverage equipment specialists receive ongoing training and certification from leading manufacturers.

We Stock the Most Commonly Used Parts

We stock the most frequently used genuine manufacturer parts on our service vehicles. No generic substitutes, only parts that meet factory specifications.

90-Day Guarantee

Technicians arrive in GPS equipped vans stocked for same day service, and every repair is backed by 90 days of coverage on parts and labor.

Planned Maintenance Programs

Prevent breakdowns before they happen. Our PM programs include descaling and water line cleaning, thermostat and temperature checks, seal and gasket inspection, and thorough cleaning of brew and dispense systems.

All Equipment Types & Configurations

Countertop, plumbed in, and drop in units, we service every configuration, from single brew coffee makers to high volume fountain and ice systems, across all major beverage equipment brands.

Why isn’t my frozen beverage machine freezing product properly?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

High

A failing compressor can’t pull enough heat out of the mix to freeze it, an incorrect mix ratio changes the product’s freeze point, and a worn auger or beater assembly can’t agitate the product enough to form the right texture even when it is cold enough. This is a high urgency issue because product sitting at the wrong temperature in a beverage machine is a food safety concern, not just a quality one.
Why is my ice machine producing less ice, or none at all?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

High

A dirty condenser can’t reject heat efficiently, which slows the freeze cycle; low refrigerant charge means the evaporator plate never gets cold enough to form ice; and a failing water inlet valve starves the machine of water to freeze in the first place. Reduced output is the first sign, but a compressor running on a starved refrigerant charge risks damage the longer it keeps cycling. This is a high urgency call since a fully down ice machine during service hours has an immediate, visible impact on your operation.
Why is my juice dispenser leaking or not cooling?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A worn seal lets product leak out at a fitting or door, low refrigerant charge means the unit can’t maintain cooling temperature, and a clogged drain line backs up condensation until it overflows somewhere it shouldn’t. A slow leak often gets written off as a cleaning issue until someone traces it back to a specific seal or fitting, worth having a technician check directly rather than repeatedly wiping it up.
Why won’t my hot water dispenser reach temperature?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A failing heating element loses its ability to bring water up to temperature, thermostat miscalibration means the unit shuts off before it’s actually hot enough, and scale buildup on the tank insulates the heating element from the water it’s supposed to be heating. A unit that takes progressively longer to reach temperature is usually scale accumulating gradually rather than a sudden failure, worth a maintenance visit before it stops reaching temperature at all.
Why is my fountain machine dispensing flat or watery soda?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

Low CO2 pressure means less carbonation makes it into the drink, an out of ratio syrup line changes the mix at the nozzle, and a clogged dispensing nozzle restricts flow unevenly across flavors. A flat drink today usually means the CO2 tank is close to empty or the ratio has drifted, and neither corrects itself, so the problem typically gets worse across a shift rather than better.
Why is my espresso machine losing pressure?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

A worn pump loses its ability to build the pressure espresso extraction requires, a clogged group head restricts water flow at the exact point it needs to be highest, or a failing pressure valve can’t hold the pressure the pump does build. Pressure loss tends to get worse gradually, so shots that have been getting weaker over several weeks are usually further along than they look. Have the pump and valve checked before a slow decline turns into a complete stall.
Why is my coffee brewer producing weak or inconsistent coffee?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Medium

Hard water scale coats the heating element and internal flow paths, which drops the brew temperature below what proper extraction needs, and a worn brew basket lets water bypass the coffee bed instead of saturating it evenly. Left alone, scale buildup compounds with every brew cycle until the heating element fails outright. If descaling on schedule isn’t fixing it, the heating element or water temperature control likely needs a technician, not another descale.
Why does my beverage equipment need descaling so often?
URGENCYLIKELY CAUSES

Low

Hard water mineral buildup happens faster in areas with higher water hardness, infrequent cleaning cycles let scale accumulate between services instead of being kept in check, and a missing water filtration system means every gallon passing through the equipment deposits minerals directly onto internal components. If descaling is needed more often than the manufacturer’s recommended interval, a water filtration system upstream of the equipment is usually the actual fix, not more frequent descaling.

Don’t let beverage equipment downtime slow your service. Get a factory trained technician on site, fast.

What types of beverage equipment does Allied Service Group service?

Both hot and cold side: coffee brewers and grinders, espresso and cappuccino machines, tea brewers, hot water and soup dispensers, plus fountain machines, frozen beverage machines, ice makers, and juice dispensers.

How often should beverage equipment be descaled or cleaned?

Most hot side equipment needs descaling every 1 to 3 months, and cold side dispensing lines need regular cleaning on their own schedule, but the exact interval depends on your local water hardness and how much volume runs through the equipment. Harder water deposits minerals faster, so a location with high mineral hardness may need descaling closer to the 1 month mark, while lower hardness areas can often stretch toward 3 months without buildup affecting performance. Our planned maintenance programs schedule around your specific water conditions rather than a generic calendar.

Are your technicians certified on major beverage equipment brands?

Yes. Our technicians are factory trained and certified on 300+ manufacturers and complete ongoing training through Tech24 University.

How quickly can you respond to a beverage equipment emergency?

In most markets, same day service is available, and our dispatch center runs 24/7. A down ice machine or fountain system during service hours gets prioritized over routine calls, since that’s the equipment most likely to have an immediate impact on your revenue.

What does the 90-day guarantee cover?

Every repair is backed by 90 days of coverage on both parts and labor. Call 731-982-2634 or request service online to get started.
